The World Series of Poker TOC 1.1 is a software virtual reality game program that challenges players to enter the poker circuit as a new protégé who will play against the top poker players and qualify for the winner takes all, invitation only, Tournament of Champions at the Rio Resort in Las Vegas for the poker title of the World’s Best. Players take on the role of mentor Chris “Jesus” Ferguson’s protégé and have to play against 25 champions of poker. They create their own character for their new career at the beginning of the game and in this role, they enter a simple game session to begin with. This is where their mentor ‘discovers’ their talent for the game of poker and they then progress, under his wing, through 4 events and preliminary rounds up to a final round in Rio. Points from each game take them to the next. Professional players like Phil Laak and Jennifer Tilly have to be beaten along the way in World Series of Poker TOC 1.1. Commentaries from Norman Chad, good graphics and simulated locations, all add to the gaming experience of World Series of Poker TOC 1.1 and the program features an odds-calculating tool and online multiplaying. Digimask ™ facial masking adds to the fun when players create their character and this character can also be used in the online games.
